*****
Bansko Resort features 75 kilometers of marked slopes.
The slopes offer a variety of difficulties, indicated by colors: blue for easier slopes, red for moderate difficulty, and black for the most challenging. It's important to consider the length of each slope, as longer slopes will keep you active while descending for a longer time.
Note that some blue and red slopes may be more difficult than the standard classification.
Beginners start on Bunderishka Polyana, which has a flat area. There are several easy slopes with lifts available. Once they reach Ski Road Number (1), they are ready for the next level.
The base station, located behind the Kempinski Hotel, starts at around 1,000 meters above sea level. The gondola has a middle station and a top station. At approximately 1,600 meters, the top station is where all skiers and snowboarders get off to reach the slopes. The gondola can transport up to 2,000 people per hour, with a travel time of about 25 minutes to reach the top.
